I wanted a note-taking app as minimalistic as Google Keep, but with added support for hierarchies, a canvas to spatially arrange notes like on a corkboard, and why not, an intelligent agent to help organize and create notes effortlessly. So, I built this app.

USER NEEDS

Pain Points:

  • Linear note apps don't support visualizing complex ideas or strategies
  • Juggling multiple tools (like Notion and Google Keep) creates a messy workflow
  • Moving individual notes one by one is tiresome in spatial interfaces
  • Text in checklist items doesn't wrap properly in canvas view

Problems to Solve:

  • Need for visualizing interconnected ideas and campaign strategies spatially
  • Desire for minimalist note-taking with hierarchical organization
  • Requirement for effortless note creation and organization via AI assistance
  • Need to manage complex content without switching between multiple apps

Potential Solutions:

  • Implementing a spatial canvas for arranging notes like a corkboard
  • Bundling child notes into cards for easier management
  • Adding an AI agent to help organize and create notes
  • Introducing note sharing and drawing features on canvas
  • Adding task management capabilities
  • Implementing text wrapping in canvas view for better readability
  • Adding import from Google Keep feature

GROWTH FACTORS

Effective Strategies:

  • Building a free-to-use product to gather initial feedback and users
  • Actively engaging with users on Reddit to collect feature requests
  • Rapid iteration based on user feedback (e.g., refactoring from single nodes to bundled cards)

Marketing & Acquisition:

  • Sharing on relevant subreddits (r/SideProject) to reach early adopters
  • Offering free access to encourage trial and word-of-mouth
  • Demonstrating unique features (spatial canvas, AI agent) to stand out

Monetization & Product:

  • Currently free model to build user base
  • Potential premium features hinted (AI agent, advanced organization)
  • Focus on solving specific pain points (visual strategy for marketers) for product-market fit
  • Prioritizing aesthetics and user interactions for better UX

User Engagement:

  • Directly responding to every comment to build rapport
  • Proactively asking for use cases and feature suggestions
  • Creating intuitive workflows that users describe as "unique" and "game-changer"
  • Addressing specific UI/UX issues reported by users (e.g., text wrapping)
